Between 18-25 years

Between 25-35 years
Many pregnant women come to our practice with the most common complaint being a painful lump in the anus. Also at this stage of life, there is a surge in inflammatory bowel diseases, which can have various symptoms at the anus.
Between 35-50 years
Many patients present with complaints of bleeding or dislodgement during defecation. It is a time of health awareness, with more and more patients coming for screening.
Over 60 years
With age, the connective tissues weaken and the pelvis sinks.
Faecal dysfunction or even bowel problems are common. At this stage of life, many people also present with bleeding complaints, and in our practice we always have to rule out the possibility of a rectal tumour.
