Physical therapy

Our physiotherapist uses traditional and special physiotherapy methods to treat abnormal pelvic floor sphincter function and pelvic pain syndrome.

Manometry

A technique used to test the function of the muscles of the pelvic floor, also known as the gastrocnemius or sphincter muscles, by measuring the pressure or change in pressure created by the voluntary muscles around the rectum or vagina.

EMG biofeedback

In our clinic, we can also use a modern electromyography (EMG) system to examine the function, weakness or overactivity of the sphincter muscles, and we also use this method during therapeutic training.

Other treatment options

Effective, evidence-based treatments for the treatment of gastrointestinal and many pelvic conditions are becoming more and more available thanks to the rapid advances in science.
