Physical therapy
Physiotherapy was originally developed for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, and was inspired by the need to cure certain epidemics (e.g. paediatric paralysis). The aim was to maintain the range of motion of the joints, increase muscle strength, coordinate movement, and maintain movement as a basic life function at the highest possible quality. Today, as in other areas of medicine, a wide range of treatment methods is available to professionals, based on the latest research findings and a holistic approach. The physiotherapist, after knowing the results of the medical examinations, performs his/her own physiotherapy tests on the patient, makes a physiotherapy diagnosis and prepares a treatment plan for the individual.
In our clinic, we have a physiotherapist with special training and experience for a wide range of pelvic disorders, urinary, wind and faecal incontinence, numerous proctological disorders and muscle imbalances, for both men and women. We offer instrumental musculoskeletal examination and gymnastics, joint mobilisation, muscle-ligament relaxation/stretching, complex whole-body therapy, lifestyle counselling.
