Microbiological spraying
Bacteria, viruses and fungi live on the surface of the skin and form the skin microbiome, which protects the skin against pathogens.
A bőr-nyálkahártya határokon (ilyen a végbél nyílás is) gyakran telepednek meg patogén mikrobák, pl.
Staphylococci, spore-forming fungi.
In areas where the skin’s protective function is compromised (dehydration, micro-injuries, skin diseases present), pathogenic microbes colonise, producing local, superficial or deep infections through their enzymes and toxins.
In addition to damage to the skin’s self-defence, defence against pathogens may be impaired in diabetes, congenital or acquired immune deficiencies, liver and kidney failure, cancer, poor hygiene and in warm, humid environments.
The characteristics of the area around the rectum (closed area, constant rubbing, secretions of several glands, presence of vaginal fluid, urine, faeces) create a specific microenvironment that is favourable for the colonisation of pathogens.
Superficial bacterial infections can occur in both childhood and adulthood, affecting the genital organs and the skin around the rectum.
In and around the rectum
Sexually transmitted pathogens can be bacteria (Gonorrhoea, Chlamidia, Syphilis), viruses (Herpes, Human Papilloma Virus).
Symptoms are varied, bloody, mucous stools, false bowel movements, sores, ulcers, growths, rarely HPV-induced tumours.
The above pathogens may have characteristic clinical signs, but the lesions seen are often misleading.
Only detection of the causative agent can cure the disease.
All the necessary equipment for vaccination is available in the practice.
The sampling is painless.
The results are available within 3 days.
