I am Zsuzsanna Balogh physiotherapist, I have been working in ProctoMed Center since 2015 with the physiotherapy examination and treatment of a number of pelvic disorders, such as pain syndromes, weakness and tightness of the gastrointestinal tract, incontinence, defecation difficulties, constipation, hemorrhoids.
I graduated from the Bókay János Secondary School of Health Care with a diploma in general nursing and assistant, and then continued my studies at the Faculty of Physical Therapy of the University of Medical Sciences, Budapest, in 1991.
After college I started working at the St. Rokus Hospital, in the departments of Rheumatology, Internal Medicine and Neurology.
After the birth of my children, I started working at the National Korányi Pulmonology Institute in 1998, after moving to Budakeszi with my family and working there for 21 years.
Since 2019, I have been working as a full-time contractor as a physiotherapist.
I am constantly training, my last large scale learning project was the Maitland Manual Therapy course, where I passed the exam.
(2014-2016.)
Pelvic physiotherapy, the topic of gait abnormalities, has been present in my work from the beginning, as part of the maternity gymnastics in my residence for decades, in hospital work with patients with cough, and then as an integral part of the therapy of the variants of the disease experienced at ProctoMed.
After completing training courses available in this country, I continued to expand my knowledge in this field in the UK.
Since 2019, I have participated in several courses organised by the International Society of Urogynecology.
Not only do I regularly attend professional conferences as a student, but since 2008 I have been giving lectures almost every year on physiotherapy rehabilitation, scar massage and respiratory rehabilitation, pelvic physiotherapy.
In the physiotherapist training I am active as a practical instructor for Hungarian and foreign students between 2009-2019.
Between 2009-2014 I also tried my hand at physiotherapy in home care.
I have participated in the following courses in the pelvic area:

  • 1991-1992: Childbirth preparation, weight training, intimate gymnastics
  • 1993: Preparation for perinatal psychoprophylaxis and parenting
  • 1999: Incontinence rehabilitation
  • 2005: Urofitness
  • 2016: evidence in pelvic floor physiotherapy
  • 2018: EMG Biofeedback incontinence treatment (MIND Media)
  • 2018: maternity taping (Balance Academy)
  • 2019: Diagnosis and treatment of gouty tumours (IUGA, UK)
  • 2020: Beyond Keegels

  • 2022: New tools for incontinence management
  • 2022: SI therapy
  • 2023: Global Pelvic Health (IUGA)

Over the past decades, I have taught many women and men how to consciously operate the pelvic floor sphincters.
In the ProctoMed clinic, individualised treatments are available, usually with instruments and manual treatments, as part of a personalised programme.
